1. INTRODUCTION

These Rules and regulations are necessary for the running of the pageant. To guarantee that each contestant is treated fairly and equally. We endeavour it to be a fun time for all.

Please ensure you read the following rules thoroughly. You will be required to sign the final page to acknowledge that you have read and understood these rules.

2. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
NO INTOXICATION

Excessive drinking and drunken behaviour will not be tolerated.

NO USE OF DRUGS

As long as you are representing the Pageant, no use of substances unless prescribed by a doctor.

NO COMMUNICATION WITH JUDGES UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES

At no point are you allowed to talk to judges without a coordinator being present.

PUNCTUALITY

You must be on time and attend any scheduled meeting, if you are more than 5 minutes late without a legitimate reason, you will be subject to discipline.

FRIENDS AND FAMILY

Husbands, boyfriends, agents, roadies or sponsors are welcome on club premises, provided that they behave as a regular paying customer and DO NOT attempt in any way to interfere with the running of the contest. Admittance to the contestants dressing area or any other places are off limits to normal customers (However house rules to this supersede)

3. CONTESTANT CONDUCT & BEHAVIOUR

Pages on this site may include embedded content, like YouTube videos, for example. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if you visited the other website.

  1. You must act in an appropriate and professional manner at all times.

  2. You must maintain appropriate language with both customers, management and contestants (no swearing).

  3. If you have a legitimate complaint it must be put in writing and handed to one of the coordinators. It will be investigated. If it is about one of the coordinators, give the complaint to the club management.

  4. You must follow club rules. Disobeying the house rules of the club may result in you being disqualified from the competition.

  5. Conflicts with other contestants. If you have conflicts with anyone during the contest, let management know and the problem will be resolved.

  6. RESPECT FOR FELLOW CONTESTANTS – When another contestant is on stage, respect their performance. Do not draw undue attention to yourself or disrupt the audience or judges attention from the stage.

4.  PERFORMANCE RULES
  1. You must get your music to our DJ prior to the commencement of the contest. This is done during rehearsals the day before. (USB and CD) of the highest quality that has been professionally mixed.

  2. The MAXIMUM length of your shows is to be 15 minutes. (The DJ will cut your music at exactly 15 minutes) MINIMUM length of your show to be 12 minutes.

  3. You must inform us of any special needs that you require prior to your show.

       *Stage Information sheets will be provided for you to advise requirements.

  1. You MUST be dressed and ready to perform one contestant ahead of you. Be aware that you may be required to perform earlier.

  2. NO USE OF ANY TYPE OF OIL, BODY CREAM, PAINT WITHOUT APPROPRIATE FLOOR COVERING TO COMPLETELY PROTECT THE STAGE.

  3. NO USE OF ANY OIL BASE PRODUCT OR GLITTER IN THE SHOWER.

  4. THE USE OF FIRE MUST BE APPROVED BY PAGEANT COORDINATOR.

Pyrotechnics may be used if operated by a licensed person with insurance. You will also require authorisation from the club prior to your show.
